Quick facts about us
- We live in Albany, Oregon.
- We love the Lord Jesus
- We drive a Honda civic
- Our favorite restaurants are Souplantation and Thai Cuisine
- We just bought a house!
- All of our computers run Linux
- Currently, Tak's favorite book in the Bible is Romans and Janet's is Esther.
- We both tend to use New King James Version
- Our favorite board game is RISK
What we believe
- We believe that God literally created the heavens and the earth in the beginning. (Genesis 1)
- We believe that God is and is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6)
- We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the infallible and inerrant authoritative guide for our faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16)
- We believe that we are justified by faith and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1)
- We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus, who was born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect and sinless life, died a sinner's death on the cross, rose bodily from the dead on the 3rd day, went up to Heaven, is seated at the right hand of God, and is intereceding for us. (Gospels, Acts 1, Hebrews)
- We believe in the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in a visible and physical manner. (Acts 1:11)
- We believe in one God, eternally existent as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that faith in Jesus, the power of the Holy Spirit, fellowship with other belivers, and the guidance by the Word of God are essential in the Christian walk with God.
What We Less Firmly Believe
- We believe that In 'n' Out Burger is superior to all of the other fast foods
- We believe that In 'n' Out Burger's grilled onion cheeseburger is better than the non-grilled one.
- We believe that Bob the tomatoe is a fruit and not a vegetable.
- We believe that the Hokey Pokey is not what it's all about.
- We suspect that Solomon had his wives and concubines wear name tags.
- We believe that a chicken was created before an egg.
- We do not hold to the doctrines of "Murphy's Law."
- We love milkshake... oops that's not a belief, I guess.

About this Website
OK, I had to get this off my chest somewhere. I have not at all tried to optimize this website with any other web browsers other than Firefox (and Swiftfox). And I have not optimized it on any other platform other than Linux (Ubuntu). I know that kind of attitude / approach is a big no-no in web development, but I just don't have the time! All the IE, Opera, Safari, Epiphany, Windows, and Mac users (who are probably the majority of the audience), please accept my lame excuse.
